What Happens After the Assessment?

Results are interpreted by our multidiciplinary team of experts

Once all of the assessment appointments are complete our multidiciplinary team of experts will meet to consider all of the available information. The evidence indicative of possible Autism Spectrum Disorder will be clearly documented on a formulation sheet outlining the DSM V criteria for diagnosing Autism. Our multidisciplinary team will reach a shared decision as to whether the criteria have been met to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder. We will then discuss what tailored recommendations would benefit our client so that they can be included in our final summary report.

Written and verbal feedback is provided

We will call you at your convenience to discuss the outcome of your assessment and answer any questions that you may have. If you prefer we can arrange a face to face feedback session. You will be provided with a copy of our formulation sheet and a comprehensive report detailing our assessment process, decision around diagnosis and tailored recommendations.

You will receive post diagnostic support

If a diagnosis of Autism is made we will ask your permission to put your name down for our next information and support workshop and will contact you as soon as the next date has been arranged.
