about us
Autism Assessment UK is the trading name of Riviera Psychology Ltd. Company Directors, Dr Katie Parsons and Dr Anne Murray, are Clinical Psychologists with a combined 20 years of experience providing assessment and support for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

We launched Autism Assessment UK to address the nationwide problem of excessive waiting times faced by people who suspect that they, or someone in their family, may have Autism.
As Doctors of Clinical Psychology we draw from psychological theory and research to help us to understand the mind and human behavior. We specialise in gathering and integrating information from a number of sources and in working collaboratively with clients to come to a shared understanding of their current situation and any difficulties they are experiencing. Our training in multiple evidenced based therapies allows us to tailor the recommendations and support we provide to the unique requirements of each individual.

WHY CHOOSE US?
Quality Assurance

We pride ourselves in ensuring that our assessment methods are of the highest clinical standards as outlined by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence. All of our specialist associate clinicians are registered with the Health Care Professions Council and adhere stringently to professional codes of conduct and ethics.

Multi-professional Expertise

We have a range of professionals that are able to be involved in assessments, where needed. Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists are just some of the professionals who may be involved. An independent Consultant Paediatrician is also involved in our assessments of anyone under 18. All of our clinicians have extensive experience of Autism diagnosis within NHS assessment centres.

Rapid Response and Appointments at your Convenience

Once we have established that an Autism assessment is the appropriate way forward for you or your family member, we will be able to arrange your first appointment within a few weeks. We are able to offer some weekend and evening appointments to minimise disruption to work and school life. We are also able to offer a completely remote service by telephone or video.

Post Diagnostic Support

We have observed how a lack of support following diagnosis is a nationwide issue. For this reason, we are pleased to be able to offer a complementary support session when a diagnosis is made. We are also currently working on a library of support videos which you would be able to access following on from an assessment.

Please call or email if you would like to arrange a free telephone consultation.

We look forward to hearing from you
